The
MC77 is a re-engineered 1176LN type FET limiter. It has been designed
to recreate the Urei revision E model using modern components that
are matched to the original specification including the J Series
T-Pad input attenuators which are no longer in production. |

Audio Action Fet
The
Action Fet is an 1176 style compressor module compatible with 500
Series racks. The Action Fet shares many of the components found
the MC77, including the input attenuator, and gain reduction FET.
The ratios are the same, including all buttons in. The main difference
is in the attack and release times which cover a broader range than
the MC77. |

Audio Biz
The
Biz is a unique sounding, three amplifier, discrete microphone preamp
module designed to work in standard "500" racks. The Biz
also has a 'Dual' switch that splits the gain between two of the
Class A opamps, enabling up to 75 dBu of clean gain, making the
Biz a perfect match for ribbon microphones. |

The
Purple Audio Cans is a very high quality stereo headphone amplifier
and control room preamplifier. The Purple Audio Cans is built using
their discrete opamps however for easy serviceability and tweaking,
the Purple discrete opamps can be replaced with any standard discrete
opamp or a DIP-8 IC. |

The
LILPEQr is a solid-state program EQ that emulates vintage valve
EQs like the Lang PEQ-1 and the Klangfilm RZ062. It offers high
and low frequency shelving bands, each with three carefully selected
corner frequencies to choose from, and can be switched between passive,
or class A buffered input which changes the response ever so slightly,
making the signal seem a bit tighter and more focused. |

Audio TAV Graphic EQ
The
TAV is a ten band graphic EQ that uses a high quality inductors
and carefully selected caps to set the center frequencies for every
band. At full boost and full cut the bands have a narrower Q, but
at lower settings the bands widen out for more gentle shaping. Even
at full boost and cut, the filters are shaped to be musical and
useful. |

Audio Odd Inductor EQ
Odd
is a four-band 500 Series EQ inspired by the classic "swinging
inputs" console. Each band has two switchable frequencies that
have been carefully shaped to be musical, even at full boost or
cut. The high band can be switched from bell to shelf, to boost
frequencies beyond 20kHz. The low band can be switched from bell
to shelf, reaching down to the subsonic range. |

Pants
is the latest 500 Series MicPre from Purple Audio that is designed
using four custom made discrete opamps. With different Gain and
Level settings the Pants can produce many different tones with the
same amount of output level. The front panel DI goes through a FET
buffer into the input transformer, adding an extra dimension to
the sound of the preamp. |

Audio Moiyn
The
Moiyn 8x2 summing mixer is only compatible with the Purple Audio
Sweet Ten Rack. Installed into slot 9 of the Sweet Ten, slots 1
through 8 automatically become input modules to the Moiyn so you
can still take the slot 1 through 8 output XLRs to your DAW or tape
machine. This system is also expandable allowing for multiple units
to be cascaded together. |

The
Purple Audio Sweet Ten is a very well made, yet affordable 10 slot
rack for housing 500 series modules. The Sweet Ten uses a silent
magnetically shielded linear power supply that can switch between
115/230 volts. All inputs and outputs are on lockable balanced XLR
connections at the rear of the unit. |
